You put your final Espresso Pod in your machine and switch it on, then for some reason or another you’re pulled away from the machine, and you forget about your Espresso.
6 am the next morning the alarm goes off; you rub your eyes go down to the kitchen reach for the Espresso pods and horror! They’re all gone!
What the hell are you going to do!
You look to your machine and sitting there is the cup of Espresso you made yesterday, is it safe to drink?
Will Espresso Keep Overnight?
YES
It’s only been there overnight, feel free to put your cup in the microwave (check it’s microwave safe first) and enjoy.
So exactly how long will Espresso keep?
- In the open air – 24 hours (it will probably keep longer but 24 hours will be safe)
- In the fridge – 7 days (you could make up a weeks worth and enjoy cold or heat up as required)
- In the freezer – 6 months (you can freeze your Espresso in ice cube trays and defrost as needed although taste won’t be optimal)
